First, FP students, their siblings, and parents helped out at the Riverside Park Conservatory’s Sandsational event. During the fun morning of rewarding work, they replenished a sandbox with fresh sand at the Sakura Park on 122 Street. Meanwhile, Dalton’s Office of Global and Community Engagement and the PA Community Service Committee teamed up to organize Dalton’s first sports equipment collection! Over 12 bags of various sports equipment — basketballs, soccer balls, tennis racquets, baseball bats, and more!  — were donated to non-profit Children of Promise to use in afterschool and summer programs. Thank you so much to Dalton families and Dalton Athletics for the generous donations and kudos to everyone who organized and participated in all of our wonderful community service events throughout the year!
