Playwright Sits Down With High School Play Festival Cast
David Auburn, Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning playwright, visited the cast of 'Proof' — one of the three High School plays in rehearsal for the Fall High School Play Festival.
'Proof' is one of David's plays, and we were delighted to host a Q&A between him and the cast. In addition to discussing the dramaturgy in the play with David, the cast was presented with costume designs from costume designer Ilana Breitman, and learned more about the mental health crisis experienced by the characters in the play from Jenna Summer, director of Health & Wellness.
'Proof' runs from November 11-16, 2024 in the Martin Theater in repertory with 'Tartuffe' and 'Pride & Prejudice'. Performances are at 4:15 and 7:15 daily.
