6th Grade Spanish Students Make Arepas Con Queso in the Teaching Kitchen
Before spring break, students in grade 6 Spanish continued their exploration of the flora and fauna of Colombia with a cooking experience.
Students visited the Teaching Kitchen to make and eat arepas con queso, a traditional snack from Colombia. With the help of Chef Jaz, students made and formed their own arepas, filled them with cheese and beans, and tasted these cornmeal-based treats. ¡Qué rico!
