High School Students Attend Hannah Arendt Conference at Bard College
Led by High School History teacher David Davidson, sixteen Dalton High School students attended the annual conference of the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities at Bard College under the auspices of Dalton's Unafraid Project.
Entitled "Joy: Loving the World in Dark Times," the two-day conference offered a multidisciplinary exploration of the theme through the lens of politics, literature, psychology, music, dance, and art. In keeping with the Unafraid Project's principles, the program offered a variety of philosophical and ideological viewpoints, and each component provided opportunities for student engagement and participation through dialogue and questioning.
