4th Grade Houses Visit the Museum of the Chinese American
This week, Preston and Fasano Houses visited the Museum of the Chinese American.
Students engaged with a range of primary sources and connected them to their learning about the experience of Chinese Americans in the early 1900s in the United States. Specifically, the 4th grade studies the period of Chinese immigration to the US from the 1840s to the 1940s, encompassing the immigration station of Angel Island and the causes and effects of the Chinese Exclusion Act.
