Students Dig Their Roots at the PA’s Annual Multicultural Festival
At the end of last month, hundreds of members of the Dalton community braved frigid temps to enjoy the First Program’s beloved annual tradition, the Multicultural Festival.
This year’s theme, Digging our Roots, encouraged participants to explore how the natural world has influenced our cultures and our traditions. Dozens of volunteers from the parent community used their creativity to construct twenty different cultural displays which showcased everything from traditions to textiles, agriculture to pop culture! The festival also featured nine live performances, highlighting music and dance from many different cultures, with some of the performances showcasing our own First Program students!
Thanks to all the amazing volunteers who dedicated their time to keeping this event one of the highlights of the First Program calendar! Click here to view the photo gallery.
