To kick off spring break, Dalton families came together at the Carter Burden Center, a local organization that supports older adults through meals, programs, and connection.
Students and their parents spent the morning learning about the Center’s work and pitching in to help. After a brief introduction, volunteers prepared snack bags and assisted in serving lunch to all the seniors who joined. The experience was hands-on, collaborative, and meaningful for the seniors. Families left feeling grateful for the opportunity to give back and to connect. It was a perfect reminder of the impact small acts of service can have.
