The theme of the conference, "Invigorating Humanitarian Interventionism in a Post-Westphalian World," was chosen to encourage participants to broaden their world view and understand the vital role world resources possess in human life and international politics. Schools from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East attended the conference.

The seven Dalton seniors had the privilege of meeting Dalton Alum Cyrus Carter '75 who is the faculty advisor for the conference and a faculty member at Robert College. The students were also thrilled to reconnect with the Robert College students who visited Dalton in February on their way to the Harvard Model United Nations Conference.
