The very active Dalton Habitat for Humanity Chapter, the school's largest student organization, has published its inaugural newsletter.
The publication describes their many projects spanning across all three programs, including building locations, fundraising activities, and trips planned to city and state agencies.
In her Letter from Ellen Stein, Head of School, included on page three of the printed publication, Ms Stein commends the cause. "Habitat for Humanity is “founded on the conviction that every man, woman, and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live.” It is an honor to be one of the ?rst New York City private schools to have a Habitat for Humanity chapter, and an even greater honor to have so many Dalton students interest-ed in this wonderful cause."
Aside from this new colorful and glossy printed publication, the Chapter has also published a blog at habitat.dalton.org and they invite comments via email at habitat@dalton.org.
