Dalton High School Jazz Ensemble to Berklee Jazz Festival
Congratulations to the High School Jazz Ensemble and Small Jazz Group A for their wonderful performances Saturday afternoon at the Berklee High School Jazz Festival in Boston.
Each group was critiqued by a panel of three Berklee faculty members and students attended an evening concert featuring the top bands at the festival. Over two hundred schools participated.
Kudos to Josh Gachette on drums and Jack Lawrence on guitar, for receiving the Judge's Choice Award for best instrumentalist in their respective ensembles.
