Visiting Author Jack Gantos Makes a Splash

Jack Gantos, author of Dead End in Norvelt, which received the 2012 Newbery Medal, spoke to 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th grade students on Monday, May 7.
He delighted 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th grade students and many faculty members with wild and hilarious stories of his youth, life and work and gave wise advice on how to tackle tough writing projects. Mr. Gantos autographed copies of his books at the end of each presentation for his appreciative audience of students and teachers.
