February 14, 2014 ~ 16 Dalton students boarded a bus to Harvard University to compete against 300 teams from around the country and the world at 40th Annual Harvard National Forensics Tournament. The Dalton team endured a New England style blizzard, but competed admirably during the course of the three day weekend.
Two Dalton teams advanced to elimination rounds. Both had flawless 6 wins and no loss records, a feat accomplished by only 6 out of 300 teams. The advancing teams included Allegra Simon and Liam Glass, as well as Zachary Lehman-Ludwig and Julian Freiberg. The Glass-Simon team advanced to the octafinals and the Lehman-Ludwig Freiberg team advanced to the double octafinals. The success at the Harvard Tournament gave the Daltononians an automatic bid to the Tournament of Champions held later this year in Kentucky.
