These interviews showed the stories of everyday people and how much of an impact they can be. There was barely a dry eye in the house at points. Toward the end of his talk, he urged those in attendance to come to a StoryCorps kiosk and record their own interviews. To conclude the day Mr. Garofalo answered some questions from the audience. StoryCorps is a project that seeks to record and archive interviews of everyday people. StoryCorps has kiosks and a traveling mobile van that to date has recorded over fifty thousand interviews. All of the interviews are archived and stored in the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
