Mobiles, Stabiles & Compression and Expansion. Ask the Students in House 15 What These Words Mean!
House 15 visited Zohar's parents' galleries, Luxembourg Dayan and Venus Over Manhattan. They children saw sculptural art by Cesar Baldaccini and Alexander Calder. Inspired by what they saw, they made their own compression and expansion pieces and mobiles and stabiles. Zohar's dad used light to show shadows. House 15 also used light to see the shadows of their own pieces.
