The FP Farmer's Market was a huge success. In order to prepare for the market, the children learned about eating healthy. They compared produce displayed in supermarkets, green markets, and urban farms. Their market sold a variety of fruits, vegetables, a special granola mixture, and homemade blueberry muffins. Advertising, pricing, displaying, and selling their products were all part of this learning experience. Exposure to money symbols and counting change (with parental help) was a necessity for the Market's sellout.
