ACC Celebrates Asian American Heritage Month
The Asian Cultures Club (Middle and High School) members shared some of their favorite things about Asian and Asian American cultures with the entire Dalton Community to honor Asian American Heritage Month (May.) A slideshow displaying a collage of diverse cuisines, traditions, contemperary media, and Asian Americans worthy of note is on view in the lobby of 89th Street.
Photo versions of the slides may also be seen here on the Dalton website, as a reminder that there is a vast array of languages, traditions, art forms, etc., which permeate Asian-American culture. ACC wishes to emphasize that "Asian" is an immensely broad term for the intricacies of the peoples it describes.
