Dalton Team Places Sixth at National Forensic League Debate Tournament
Allegra Simon '14 and Liam Glass '15, Dalton's representative debate team of two, finished sixth at the National Forensic League National Debate Tournament, which took place June 16-20 in Kansas City, KS. Thousands of middle and high school debaters from around the country participated in various forms of debate. Allegra and Liam participate in Public Forum which had 250 teams. They debated to resolve whether or not NATO should strengthen its relationship with Ukraine to deter further Russian aggression. The Dalton team placed an impressive sixth overall. Dalton earned a Debate School of Honor as well as an Outstanding School of Achievement Award.
