It was the great mix of music, spoken word and comedy that inspired a supportive audience to applaud loudly for a vast line-up of multi-talented performers at Friday night's Coffeehouse.
Coffeehouse is a long tradition at Dalton, starting as Phase, which was held in the theater spanning back to 2002. Coffeehouse evolved in search of a smaller, more intimate experience for performers and audience. In this Friday, November 7, 2014 performance latecomers discovered standing room only, hovering in the doorways behind an audience that stayed long into the three-hour evening, and that gave heartfelt bursts of applause after each performance.
Seniors Jordan Rubenstein, Jasper Jarecki and Theo Kandel, of the Performing Arts Club (PAC), produced the show, which flowed seamlessly.
