The third grade study of Native Americans came to life in each student's imagination thanks to storyteller and artist Dovie Thomason.  Third graders displayed great interest and enthusiasm while listening to Dovie Thomason's tales based on her Lakota and Plains Apache relatives. She not only entertained the students, but shared Native American cultural values, traditions and ways of life.
