The 7th & 8th grade winter Tiger athletes took the gym floor and dove unafraid into the pool with pride while wearing their Dalton blue and white and sporting their Dalton spirit.
The swim meet vs. the Trinity school kicked off the day. Dalton's boys and girls challenged Trinity in every race and were victorious in many. The relays were a highlight of the meet keeping everyone on their toes and pushing the swimmers to do their best to win for the team!
In the gym at 87th Street, the Tigers started the late afternoon off by playing Trevor Day School. The MS Boys C team played a tough game getting some big defensive stops and converted them into offensive points. Unfortunately, the surge by the team came a little late in the game, and they fell just short of a victory.
The MS girls and boy B teams took on crosstown rivals, Trinity. Dalton came out strong and played for a packed gym. Both teams held off Trinity from making a run and came out victorious. The MS girls and boys A teams took the court next and faced talented Trinity teams. They played hard and together fighting to get steals and convert on the offensive end. Unfortunately, the scoreboard did not reflect the outcome the teams wanted.
