HS Robotics Team Sets a New Record NY State Championship
Atomic Theory, one of Dalton's high school robotics teams, traveled to the NY State Championship at Pace University. Out of 32 teams from the region, Dalton ended up as part of the winning alliance and earned a spot at the East Super Regional competition.
During the competition, Dalton teamed up with i2robotics from Westport, CT to set a new world record for the most points scored during a match (745). Video of their record-breaking match can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71nrdgpVn04&spfreload=10 .
Dalton's three other teams have all won at local NYC events and qualified for the NYC Championship on March 1. Winning at that tournament would earn a team the right to join Atomic Theory at the Eastern Super Regional.
