China Institute Workshop - House 46
Members of the education department of the China Institute visited House 46 to introduce Chinese greetings, to discuss the Forbidden City, the Emperor’s role and the Chinese emblems on his robe. A huge thank you to Elaine Sun Sam Kaplan’s mom for organizing this visit.
Viviane and Ricardo, the China Institute's leaders, asked the children to come up with a list of priorities that an Emperor should do for his people. Cleaner water, equal rights, education, and jobs were some of the items listed.
