Dalton HS Math Team - Achieved First Place in NYML' s Regional Competition
Dalton's High School Math team came in first place in the Manhattan region for NYML (New York Math League). This is a national competition that is administered regionally. The Manhattan region consists of 18 teams including many independent and public schools.
There are six contests administered throughout the school year. Each contest is comprised of six challenging problems. Our team score is based on the scores of many math team students including: Zach Buttenweiser '15, Alison Chen '17, Emily Cohen '16, Henry Firestone '17, Liam Glass '15, Teddy Katz '15, Spencer Kersh '16, Jamie Konigsberg '16, Kai-Zhan Lee '15, Calder McHugh '15, Andrew Milich '15, David Morse '18, Devin Plumb '16, Karina Shah '16, Ella Tessier-Lavigne '16 and Brian Zhao '15.
