Successful Spring for the Varsity Softball and Baseball Teams
The Varsity Softball team is having their best season in many years. The team began with notable wins in their first four games. This year's team has become among the top teams in the Ivies. They defeated Trinity, Hackley, Horace Mann and Riverdale. With an impressive 9-3 record so far this season, this is one of the most talented softball teams in Dalton history.
While the Softball team is taking care of business, the baseball team has also hit their stride. The team meshed and swung their bats with confidence in the nick of time they faced Ivy League powerhouse Poly Prep. The team dominated that game earning a 9-2 win. They have not looked back since and currently are 7-4 on the season. Both teams look to take the diamond each day to finish the season strong and earn a bid into the NYSAIS tournament.
