Concussion/Injury Protocol

A concussion is...

...a reaction by the brain caused by a jolt or force transmitted to the head from a blow to anywhere on the body. The injury results from the brain rapidly moving back and forth or twisting within the skull. The effects of a concussion vary by individual and need to be evaluated by a doctor to determine a treatment plan that is the most appropriate for that particular student-athlete.
