Book Collection for the Middle School Book Swap Continues Through 12/10! Drop off gently used books for Middle Schoolers in the bins at Dalton East and 89th Street. Further details below.
4th – 6th Grade students will participate in the 3rd Annual Dalton Middle School Book Swap on Tuesday, December 17th at the 89th Street Library. Book collection will take place through Tuesday, December 10th at the 89th Street Lobby and Dalton East.
We invite you to participate by donating books for the swap and to volunteer for the event. Parent volunteers will be needed for book sorting, setup day, and on the day of the event. Please click here to volunteer.
Book Collection Week: Now through Tuesday, December 10th
MS and HS students and their families are invited to donate their gently used books.
Collection bins are located at the 89th Street Lobby and Dalton East
Donate as many books as you would like with the following criteria:
Books should be appropriate for Middle School readers.
Books must be in good condition
No torn or damaged books
No highlights or annotations
Students are not required to donate books to select new books at the swap.
Book Swap Day: Tuesday, December 17th
Throughout the day, 4th – 6th Grade students will come to the 89th Street Library with their House and pick out new favorite reads at the Book Swap. Students will stock up on FREE new titles for winter break, share favorite literary quotes with classmates, and have the chance to win prizes!
