The following summarizes expected construction over the school break, which includes relevant work in front of the 89th Street building. Saturday work is planned for 12/23, 12/30, and 1/6.

The following summarizes expected November construction activities. This includes relevant information about the installation of a new water service to the 89th Street building starting this Saturday, 11/18.

Dalton extends its sincere thanks to you, our neighbors, for your patience and cooperation this summer as our construction team successfully completed the first phase of Dalton's building project. 

As a reminder, 89th Street will be closed between Park and Lexington Avenue on Saturday, August 19. Please be aware that crane work will occur from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM as approved by the NYC DOT.

Crane work will not occur this week. Please be aware of revised dates for street closure due to crane work and additional construction activities throughout August.

The following is a summary of expected construction activities for August including relevant information about the exterior, interior, projected crane work, and DOB permitted construction hours.

Please note updated dates for street closure and crane work next week. 

89th Street will be closed between Park and Lexington Avenue from Thursday, July 27 through Friday, July 28 as permitted by NYC DOT. Crane work will occur from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day.

The following includes a summary of expected construction activities for the month of July. Please review relevant information about the exterior, interior, projected crane work, and DOB permitted construction hours.

A natural gas leak was reported to Con Edison in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 5. A Con Edison crew arrived on the street for emergency repairs at 3:00 AM. This repair work was not part of Dalton's building project construction.

On Saturday, June 24 and July 1, Dalton will continue work on the roof and interior. Please note that 89th Street will be closed between Park and Lexington Avenue for crane work on either June 27, 28, or 29.

On Saturday, June 17, Dalton will be performing interior construction work from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

The following includes a summary of expected construction activities for the month of June, which will begin June 12. Please review relevant information about exterior, interior, and projected crane work, as well as DOB permitted construction hours.

Please review the ten days of expected street closures due to crane work during June, July, and August.

On Saturday, June 3 and June 10, Dalton will do exterior work on Dalton's roof top from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM pending good weather conditions.

On Saturday, May 6, Dalton will continue to install roof protection on top of Dalton's south roof from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM pending good weather conditions.

On April 14-15, Dalton will complete the sidewalk bridge in front of the 89th Street location. Pending good weather conditions, please be advised of Saturday work as permitted by the Deparment of Building (DOB). Roof protection will also continue on top of Dalton's roof.

Starting March 18, the School will erect a sidewalk bridge in front of the 89th Street location.
