Entered Dalton in 6th grade
(Brooklyn Friends School)
Academic Interests: English, math, and computer science
Activities: Robotics, organizing Dalton's Bit by Bit conference, writing for the Daltonian, and running a math club for middle school girls.
Favorite class at Dalton: It's a tie between English and robotics
Favorite thing about Dalton: How many passionate people are a part of our community, and how there are so many opportunities to explore interests in and outside of the classroom and really learn for the sake of learning rather than a grade.
Place at Dalton you’ll most likely find me: The robotics lab
Best Dalton tradition: Singing the Dalton song as a high school (we get really into it)
#1 reason I recommend Dalton: The close relationships you build with your teachers and classmates/the sheer number of opportunities there are to learn and explore the world
Books on my nightstand: Becoming by Michelle Obama, All These Wonders (a collection of stories from The Moth podcast), and of course Harry Potter
The most memorable thing I’ve learned at Dalton: Being confused is awesome-- it means you're learning
Study snack of choice: Strawberries or Terra Vegetable Chips
Superpower I’d most like to have: Being able to freeze time
