This year House 25 studied the lives and cultures of Native Americans throughout North America. They discovered that each tribe has a rich history and that their cultures are diverse. They also learned how important the natural world is to American Indians.
As a culminating activity, students performed in House 91 a Harvest Assesmbly, a play adapted from two Native American stories The Myth of "The Corn Spirit" from the Tuscorora Tribe and The Myth of "The Grasshopper's Song" from the Zuni Tribe that help explain the harvest beliefs of those tribes. They hope you enjoy!
