Atomic Theory won the NYC Gravesend West qualifier, also winning the PTC Design Award, 2nd place Innovate Award, and the 2nd place Inspire Award. They will be competing in the NYC championships. They also were in the second place alliance at the Corning NY competition, where they won the Innovate Award, and qualified to compete in the Upper New York Empire Regional Championships.
Quantum Mechanics was in the second place alliance at the NYC Gravesend West qualifier, also qualifying for the Innovate Award and the winning the Think Award and 3rd place Inspire Award. They also did well at the Somers NY competition, coming in first place with i2 robotics from CT. They have qualified to compete in the Middle New York Hudson Valley Regional Championships, as well as the NYC Championships.
Standard Model won the NYC Gravesend East qualifier, also winning the PT C Design Award. They have qualified to compete in the NYC Championships.
All 51 high school students in the program have been working hard to make this a standout season for the team, and we look forward to seeing their continued innovation and creativity over the next few months of competition.
