Several seniors took a trip back in time to share their favorite memories of First Program in two House 91 assemblies on Friday, June 3, 2016. FP Division Director Nora Elish welcomed the seniors, along with an introduction by two First Program students, to reflect on some of the seniors' favorite memories and subjects while they were in FP. Many expressed fond memories of their tiles, roof time, art, post office, bakery assignment, archaeological digs, and city blocks. Among other mementos, one senior brought her city block back to share with the FP students.
The seniors also named some of their current favorite subjects, including computer science, advanced physics, molecular biology, astronomy, dance, English, history and art. The first program students asked the seniors detailed questions, and they concluded house 91 by joining in to sing the Dalton Song.
After House 91, the seniors and their FP teachers and administrators reunited in the East Lobby for refreshments, hugs, news, and fond memories. The students expressed appreciation for the love, nurture, and occasionally, the necessary discipline they received in their formative years at First Program.
Some of the seniors later stuck around to visit their former houses.
