Alumni Council Hosts Political Panel on This Most Peculiar Presidential Election
The Dalton Alumni Council hosted a topical panel discussion "Media Coverage of This Most Peculiar Presidential Election" on October 6 in Dalton's Martin Theater. Every seat in the theater was filled as three distinguished members of the media shared insights, impressions and anecdotes about the current election.
Moderated by Melissa Russo '86 (government affairs/investigative reporter, NBC 4 New York), participants were Tom Brokaw (Dalton grandparent and special correspondent, NBC News), Bill Keller (Dalton parent and editor-in-chief of The Marshall Project, former executive editor of the New York Times), and Paul E. Steiger (president of ProPublica and former managing editor of the Wall Street Journal). Head of School Ellen C. Stein and Charles Simon '83 welcomed attendees. Many thanks to event organizers Joanna Stone Herman ’88, Jaime Lester ’93, and Charles Simon ’84.
