House 25 Presents Creation Myths

Under the direction of Dance/Theater Specialist Justin Greer, and Music Specialist Nancy Silber, House 25 performed a Harvest Play. The Harvest Play consisted of Native American songs learned in music class, dramatization of creation mythology from the Tuscaurora and Zuni tribes, as well as performances of Iroquois and Mohawk prayers.
This performance was a wonderful way to celebrate Native American culture, while exercising student's performance skills in music, dance and theatre! The performance also connected beautifully with House 25's study of Native American tribes in Social Studies.
