Robotics Students Learn the Fundamentals of Welding
A group of Dalton robotics students traveled to a metalworking shop in Brooklyn to learn the fundamentals of welding. During the course of the four-hour class, the students fabricated a steel cube by measuring pipes, cutting them, beveling the edges, and joining the pieces together using an MIG welding torch. After combining the pieces, the students ground down their welders using an angle grinder.
