In late January or early February, we anticipate a one-day street closure on 89th Street between Lexington and Park Avenue for necessary crane work. Please review the recap of our December Neighborhood Meeting if you were unable to attend.
Upcoming Planned Crane Work
Pending final coordination with the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT), the tentative date for the street closure and crane work is Saturday, January 27, 2018, with work anticipated from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
When the street is closed, Dalton will have a minimum of six flag persons on the street 24-hours a day to facilitate emergency vehicular access and safe pedestrian passage. Dalton will also have security at all times during these periods. As weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may influence the progress of work, dates and times may be subject to change as required by the NYC Department of Building (DOB) for safety.
Once the street closure and crane work are confirmed with DOT, we will provide an update for our neighbors.
