Once a month Ellen Stein makes "birthday" visits to all FP classrooms. Ellen gives a special pencil and offers good wishes to those students born in that month. (No worries, summer birthdays are celebrated too.) House 16 returned the good tidings. They visited Ellen's office wearing their pencil hats and smiles on their faces and singing a song from their hearts. The students thanked Ellen for all that she does. Ellen read a story at the end of this priceless visit.
Song: (to the tune of "Frere Jacques")
