Middle School Student Wins Scholastic Scope's Nautilus Contest
We have another Scholastic Scope Magazine winner! Sixth-grader Jason Thornton has been chosen as a winner of Scholastic Scope's Nautilus Contest from the March 2018 issue. Kristen Lewis, Editorial Director of Scope Magazine, noted "that the judges loved his essay on the relationship between humans and the deep ocean." Jason's story was about Jules Verne and his undersea adventures. He was awarded a copy of The Serpent's Secret by Sayantani DasGupta. We are very proud of Jason for adding a fourth win this academic year!
