Dalton Model UN Team Receives Highest Honor at Princeton Conference
Despite a snowy start, Dalton's Model United Nations Team traveled to East Brunswick, New Jersey from November 15-18 to participate in one of the nation's largest and most competitive Model UN conferences hosted by the Princeton University International Relations Council.
Each delegate participated in a simulation of an international body in which they gave substantive speeches, collaborated with like-minded delegates based on their assigned nations' policy, and drafted UN-style legislation to resolve global issues; ranging from "The Rhoyingan Refugee Crisis in Bangladesh" to "Cryptocurrencies and Black Markets" to "Brexit." Every single Dalton delegate was formally awarded by their chair for exemplary leadership and high-level contributions. The team as a whole received the conference's highest honor: "Best Large Delegation." We are so proud of all 28 Daltonians who attended.
