First Program Families Celebrate History at Dalton's Multicultural Festival
First program students and their families celebrated and learned about each other's cultures at the Multicultural Festival on Saturday, January 26.
This year's theme was "A Centennial Celebration of Culture" which came to life in the FP Gymnasium with students' vibrantly decorated figures and handmade artwork. The diversity of our local community brought students to thirteen unique culture rooms, each with dynamic art, sport, science, and musical projects and a "Centennial Timeline" feature that highlighted important stories from each culture's history. The day included over 25 performances throughout classrooms and in the gym.
Thank you for an amazing festival! Over 1,000 guests attended. And, special thanks to the MCF committee chairs, all the parent and Dalton HS volunteers, the PA and the FP administration and staff.
