Second Graders Launch Genre Study

House 25 is piloting a new Genre Study! In this program, all second graders will receive a Reading Passport, guiding them through 9 different genres, and one "Your pick!". Once a week, students will spin the genre wheel in the Library to find out what genre they have that week. They can then borrow a book from the genre and work their way through it. Upon completing a book, they will receive a sticker corresponding to that genre and a date stamp honoring the time they completed it. It has been a joy seeing students so excited about reading!
