Congratulations to MS National Scholastic Scope Winners

Two 6th graders have been named winners of the Scholastic Scope writing competitions.

Ela Roso ’26 and Alexandra Wing ’26 were each selected as one of five national winners in the Scope’s “Interlopers Contest” and the Scope’s “The Message Contest,” respectively. Thousands of students from across the nation enter the Scope contests each month.

In addition to the recognition, Ela received a copy of
That Tender Line by Kate Allen as a prize for her persuasive essay. Alexandra received a copy of The Infinite Lives of Maisie Day by Christer Edge as a prize for her own essay about uncovering clues in an article about long-distance space travel.

We are so proud of these two exceptional Dalton writers!
