Dalton HS had over 100 students take at least one version of the AMC (American Math Competition) offered through the MAA (Mathematics Association of America) on Jan 30 and Feb 5.
Based on the results of these competitions, 11 students received national recognition for their scores and will advance to the next level-AIME (American Mathematics Invitational Exam). The AIME will be administered on March 11. The 11 students are Jake Berg ’22, Kai Mawhinney ’23, Chris Kim ’21, Jordan Paglione ’22, Nidhish Jain ’22, Mehrab Jamee ’20, Eliza Goldstein ’22, Elizabeth Min ’20, Audrey Liu ’22, Teddy Foley ’20, and Michael Jiang ’23.
