Dalton Faculty and Staff Engage in DEI Programming
Faculty and staff engaged in their 2nd Affinity/Accountability spaces on Wednesday, January 20. These sessions focused on case-based scenarios—based on student experiences—and allowed participants to explore how to navigate microaggressions.
The following day, the DEI office held an open forum for all faculty and staff to discuss and unpack the recent social and political events. Discussion topics included the insurrection and the Inauguration, the role of law enforcement, protests vs. riot vs. terrorist attack, and the transition of power. Participants joined small groups for more in-depth conversations with their peers.
