HS Science Teacher Katherine Kartheiser Selected to Attend The Academy for Teachers Conference
Dalton High School Science Teacher Katherine Kartheiser has been selected to attend Evolution & Race // Behavioral Genetics, an Academy for Teachers masterclass led by Shirley Tilghman, Princeton University president emerita and renowned scientist.
This is a three-session masterclass. In the first two sessions, teachers learn from the master. In the third, participants have a rare and valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with other brilliant teachers.
In this class, attendees will discuss human evolution and what it teaches about notions of race. In addition, the participants will explore the new field of behavioral genetics.
