Dalton Students Recognized by Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

The annual Scholastic Art & Writing Awards recognized 43 Dalton students for their excellence in film & animation, drawing & illustration, photography, poetry, short story writing, and other art and literary categories.
The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards is a series of regional and national competitions where students from across the United States compete in 29 art and writing categories. Visual and literary art leaders each year judge over 300,000 submissions by originality, technical skill, and personal voice or vision criteria.

Dalton students grades 7-12 won 83 total accolades, including 19 coveted Gold Key Awards, which are automatically considered for national-level recognition. Thirty-four individual Dalton students accounted for 58 Writing awards, while nine students collected 25 Art awards.

Congratulations to all of our Scholastic winners for their dedication to creativity and the arts!.
