Actor, Author, and Dalton Parent Julianna Margulies Kicks Off 2022 Prose Festival

Actor and Author Julianna Margulies officially kicked off the 2022 Dalton Prose Festival on Tuesday, April 12, in the 89th Street Library. Julianna joins award-winning author and fellow Dalton parent Colson Whitehead to headline this year’s festival.
Julianna covered many topics on Tuesday night, including her illustrious acting career, early life, parenting, and experiences as a new author. Director of Creative Writing Chris Hood hosted the conversation, which included a book reading from Julianna’s text Sunshine Girl and an audience Q&A session.

Attendees also chatted with Julianna following the event and had the opportunity to receive a signed copy of the book.

The 2022 Prose Festival continues on Thursday, April 21, with a session entitled, Agents & Authors: Secrets of the Books Business, and Colson concludes the three-day festival with a book reading and Q&A on Tuesday, April 26.
