Forty-four 6th Graders answered questions on Perseus, Theseus, and other characters from Greek mythology. The competitive field included 2,173 5th and 6th graders from across the country.

Kudos to Summa Cum Laude recipients Jakob Gudmundsson '28 and Rowan Qalbani '28, who earned gold medals in the competition. 

Four students secured Maxima Cum Laude honors and earned silver medals: Beatrice Levine '28, Kiran Maduraperuma '28, James Simmons IV '28, and Ayah Wood '28.

In the bronze category, seven students garnered Magna Cum Laude ribbons: Teddy Cardwell '28, Lily Dassori '28, Tess Goldfarb '28, Dean Griffin '28, Maiya Kang '28, Lily Kim-Yatter '28, and Vedant Kotahwala '28. 

In addition, nine students earned Cum Laude honors for their excellent performance on the exam: Tristan Brien '28, Ella Kirschner '28, Kai Kumar '28, Astrid Lemons '28, Aria Mukherjee-Sze '28, Oliver Satterthwaite '28, Stephanie Sholinsky '28, Kai Tsuboyama '28, and Jack Weintraub '28. 

Twenty-two 6th Graders earned recognition for their participation in this challenging test of knowledge of mythology: Zikkie Anienwelu '28, Rafaela Bigi '28, Will Bloom '28, Dylan Chang '28, Carson Cohen '28, Arianne Dracopoulos '28, Noah Dreyfuss '28, Alexa Gelb '28, Leon Geroulanos '28, Syeda Hossain '28, Elaine Huang '28, Andrew Karen '28, Liara La Londe '28, Mitchell Lamb '28, Maxwell Lincoln '28, Cooper Mandell '28, Eshan Marfatia '28, Reese Morgan '28, Raffaella Sanandaji '28, Nate Satterthwaite '28, Benjamin Shapiro '28, and Ishaan Sharma '28. 

The 6th Grade odyssey is nearing its end as the students prepare their chitons, sashes, and monologues for the culminating Greek Festival in June.
