First Program Divisional Meeting on STEM Sparks Curiosity and Collaboration
Dalton’s New Lab for Teaching and Learning hosted a series of workshops for First Program Faculty and Staff to promote collaboration and spark curiosity among Kindergarten to 3rd Grade teachers during their weekly afternoon divisional meeting. The Labs, conducted by High School faculty and students, took place at 89th Street’s design and engineering facility on the 13th and 14th floors to foster creative cross-disciplinary learning. Participants enjoyed various hands-on experiences in the Teaching Kitchen, Virtual Reality Demo Amsterdam Project, Architecture Tree House design, Woodworking & Wood Carving, Laser Cutting, Vinyl Cutting, 3D Ceramics Printer, and 3D Printing.
