The Big Dalton Cafeteria was full of community (literally and figuratively) as the PA Parent Groups hosted their kick-off event on Wednesday evening. Currently, the Dalton PA has eight Parent Groups: Asian Pacific American, Jewish Families and Culture, LatinX/Hispanic, LGBTQ+ Parents, South Asian (SANGAM), Parents of Black Students, Muslim Families & Culture, and Parents of LGBTQIA+ Students – the last two being new groups this year. After co-chairs from each group shared information about their events and happenings planned for the year, attendees enjoyed delicious food, yummy wine, and good conversation. Thank you to Dalton’s PA DEI Liaison Officer Morgan Jenkins and everyone who made this event – which highlights the amazing and diverse Dalton community – such a success.
