Parent and Author Judy Batalion P’30, ‘33, ‘37 Speaks to the 8th Grade

As 8th graders prepare for their upcoming visit to Washington, D.C. and continue their learning about the Holocaust through the lens of English and history, they had the privilege of hearing from author and Dalton parent Judy Batalion.
She spoke to them during the Tuesday assembly period about her book The Light of Days and also her upcoming books about Warsaw in the 1930s. Students were able to hear in-depth accounts of the incredible bravery of female resistance fighters in Poland during World War II, including photographs that Judy found during her research.
